Cinemaland (detail)

Some theatres, like Queen's, Lyceum, Little, Aeolian Hall, London Pavilion seemed to disappeared on the map above, compared with a map in MacQueen-Pope's An Indiscreet Guide to Theatreland (1947). The Queen's is opened in 1907 and the Lyceym Theatre is opened in 1904 in which both are still being operated till now.

It is hardly to date the map precisely. Did it appear before 1947 or after then? But one thing could be sure that the map appeared before 1980s as the publisher, Geographia Ltd was eventually absorbed into Collins Bartholomew, the cartographic division of HarperCollins in late 1980s.
